[ funnily enough, once he's pinned, instead of staring up at him like he did before, dierkk is going to turn his head and run his tongue along the inside of his wrist where a thin trickle of purple is running down from a cut on his arm. then he looks up at him from the corners of his eyes. ]

[ HE FLUSHES. he flushes VERY dark purple, yanking his hands back not so much out of a rejection of the implications involved but out of embarrassment because, y'know. that was hot. he liked it.

getting flustered and kind of fluttery in the middle of extremely close combat is probably not a GREAT idea if one intends to win a fight. ]

[ there's a very rude moment where dierkk arches up against him pointedly, like he's trying to rub it in--then he grins and flips them while johann is flustered, settling atop him like he belongs there, pinning him down and grinning down at him. ]

[ his weird glowy blue eyes are VERY wide. he's never been PINNED before. oh no. oh NO he likes that too??? that doesn't seem fair??? ]

Uh— yeah! Obviously! This is a really advantageous position to be in in a fight!!

[ he leans down to run his tongue along his jaw too, then sits up and pats his cheek with a hand, then gets up and stretches. ]

I think that's a good place for today.

[ he makes a little NOISE then goes even darker purple because that was terrible why did he make that noise that's the most embarrassing thing he's ever done. he quickly rubs his face then sits! up!! puffing his cheeks up!!! ]

[ that BASTARD. johann simmers with SPADELUST for a while after he's gone and has to go dunk his head in a creek to chill out. goodness. goodness.

the next time he's actively waiting for dierkk to show up, pacing outside his little cave hideout impatiently. he's a little bouncy, like a puppy waiting for someone to throw a ball or i guess they're trolls so like a barkbeast waiting for someone to throw an palm-sized recreation sphere. it's PRETTY CUTE. ]

[ this time it looks a little like someone carved at his face? it'll heal up, but ouch. wild. in any case he's keyed up, fingers curling and uncurling as he approaches, and seeing johann so into it is--well. ]

[ he stops fidgeting and stretches out, then grabs his hammer. ]

Get ready for it, Dierkk!

[ he GOES. by now dierkk has broken quite a few records for 'longest fight with the executioner'. he keeps breaking the record with every new fight. this time johann is VERY motivated to beat this particular fish into submission, though. ]

I was hatched ready.

[ that just gets his blood pumping harder. he's in pitch dokis. he's going for it HARD and he wants to WIN. johann is just as motivated as he is though, so the best he can hope for is a stalemate. ]

[ they are both really motivated. they're fight-horny. johann is maybe a little TOO motivated? like even being stabbed doesn't slow him down very much.

spades is a powerful thing apparently?? dang. ]

[ it's very powerful. in fact at one point when johann gets a hit in dierkk keens, but it's not a bad noise, it's a too fight-horny to function noise. keep it in your pants, buddy. ]

[ in a totally graceful and mature response to this, johann flusters so hard that he goes full anime, drops his hammer, and just fucking PUNCHES dierkk. it's like a jokey-joke 'no staahhhp teeheehee' punch but

but he's the executioner, so

[ wheeze yeah that just. knocks him right the fuck out. it's kind of alarming actually, how he goes limp and drops like a stone. johann didn't kill his fish, no way, but he's out cold and definitely has some like, skull fractures and a huge concussion. ]

[ OOPS.

what follows is a charming sequence of johann fussing over his fish, making sure he's alive, very carefully carrying him to a soft pile, putting cold stuff on his head to keep the swelling down, and just in general fussing.

it's kind of mood whiplash to go from hyper-spades to something almost diamonds-adjacentwhen dierkk wakes up again, but listen, johann was worried. ]

[ when he does wake he has a splitting headache and his face is still busted to hell. he groans and shifts a little like he's trying to sit up but that makes him so dizzy he feels like he's going to throw up so he stills instead, blearily looking up at him. ]

Hi. Sorry. I punched you.

[ he doesn't have any ice, but there's cold water available to him somewhere evidently, because he has cold wet cloths he's just kind of. plopping on dierkk's face. ]

I mean I meant to punch you so I'm not sorry about that but I'm sorry about how it like, had a consequence.

Yeah, I figured the punch was on purpose. Fuck.

[ but he doesn't sound angry, just kind of out of it and gravelly because his nose is broken. shattered. yeah. he peers up at him around the cloths.]

Um, helping? At least I hope I'm helping. I don't have any real pain killers, so...
